Glitch SMP - Season 1

What is this project about?

The Glitch SMP was a Minecraft SMP that Slushly and I continued after it's first season flunked. Similar to other SMPs, we added a unique twist to make the gameplay more entertaining.

Our twist was about new items and abilities called "Glitches" (fits the name well huh?) These so called Glitches would add simple or complex abilities to the server. Some of my personal favorite are the Crasher Glitch, which would forcefully keep a player off of the server for 30 seconds and the Glide Glitch, which would allow you to fly until you reach the ground, even if you don't have an elytra on. Funny thing about the Crasher Glitch, during testing I legit made it crash your Minecraft client to fit the name of the Glitch. But the more we thought about it the more we felt it would be a bit much to make someone re-launch their entire game, so we had to go the boring route. None-the-less it is still a really strong Glitch to use in the middle of a fight.

This was my first big project in terms of owning a community, and to this day, I am forever grateful that Slushly was willing to take on the role of being an owner. He has helped make such a difference in the server, and sure, there wouldn't be anything to play if I didn't develop it, but there sure as heck wouldn't be a good community and group of server members if Slushly wasn't there to help me every step of the way.
